Once you register to participate in the online screening, we will create a unique URL for you and your organization. You then can place this URL anywhere you’d like on your website.
Yes, all screening tools used in the online screening are validated. More information can be provided on request.
Yes! When you register to participate we will send you a link to an administrative page and a username and password. With this information you can login into your admin page and, by clicking on the “run reports” tab, you can run a report for any time period to see how many screenings your service has generated.
Yes! This is a very important part of the online screening program. We want users of the online screening to receive local, up-to-date referral information. Before putting the URL on your website you should go in and customize the referral information (including referring people to your organization if applicable). We will send you instructions on how to do this.
How much and what type of publicity you do is up to you; below are some ideas
- Send PSAs to local newspapers (SMH will provide you with PSA templates; feel free to write your own as well).
- Hang up posters around your organization
- Hang up posters around the community – supermarkets, libraries, community centers, train stations, bus stops, cafes etc
- Mention the screening in your newsletter/e-newsletter
- Ask other organizations to include information in their e-newsletters
- Ask local organization (restaurants, coffee shops) to help promote
We provide 1-2 webinar trainings/presentations each year and these are free for organizations that participate in the program.
With participation in the online screening we send you access to our Downloadable Kit. The Downloadable Kit is a webpage with resources available for you to print and download. Information includes: promotional templates, educational brochures/info sheets, clinician guides, trainings and presentations, and more. We also send you monthly promotional emails that you can tailor to fit your community and send out via your mailing list, e-news, or local media.
Listing on the NDSD event locator is free with purchase of the online screening or any of our kits. The Event Locator is a section on our website listing all events nationwide (including online screening sites and in person event sites); where the public can go on to find a screening with resources near them.
