Why Participate?

According to a 2008 study released by the RAND corporation, nearly 20 percent of military service members who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan - 300,000 in all - report symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder or major depression, yet only slightly more than half have sought treatment.

Military Pathways is a proactive program designed to help families and service personnel identify their own symptoms and access assistance, before a problem becomes serious. Through anonymous self-assessments, the program provide a non-threatening way for military families to gauge their emotional well-being while providing information on how and where to seek help.
