National Alcohol Screening Day®
Public Service Announcement Contest

Screening for Mental Health is looking for talented individuals to create an original public service announcement video to increase awareness and encourage screening for alcohol abuse and binge drinking problems on college campuses.

Winning entries will be shown to students across the country as part of the National Alcohol Screening Day (NASD) campaign and will win a prize of $350!

The National Alcohol Screening Day program is designed to educate and screen college students for alcohol-releated problems and to connect at-risk students with the resources they need.

NASD is held annually the first week of April as part of Alcohol Awareness month.

What we're looking for:

  • A 30 second video public service announcement (PSA) to draw attention to the problem of dangerous drinking on college campuses.
  • A message that raises awareness and encourages students to take a free, anonymous alcohol screening at www.CollegeResponse.org
  • A message that avoids graphic or explicit themes.
  • Original content, music and creativity.

The Prize: flyer

  • Grand Prize:  $350
