Eating Disorders Awareness Week is February 21-27, 2010

Register today and provide online screenings through September at a discounted rate!

Did you know that as many as ten million females and one million males are fighting a life and death battle with an eating disorder?1

Screening for eating disorders has never been so important. Studies show that screenings for mental health disorders can improve detection and are the first step to receiving treatment.

“As with other illnesses such as cancer or hypertension, the early detection of mental health disorders greatly increases the chances that an individual will receive the appropriate treatment and experience a better quality of life,” said Douglas G. Jacobs, M.D., Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and founder of Screening for Mental Health®.

In honor of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week—February 21-27— we are offering you our newly re-designed online screening program at a discounted rate. Sign up today through our registration page and we will pro-rate the price of the online screenings from now to September 30th.

Through the screening, community members can receive referrals to your organization for evaluation and treatment. In addition, you can brand the online screening website with your logo, colors, and graphic.

In addition to screenings for eating disorders, we offer online screenings for other disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, alcohol use disorders, and a brief screening for adolescent depression.
