Results

Thank you and congratulations to all of our sites  and supporters who participated in National Alcohol Screening Day this past April, 2006.
This year, over 1,400 sites registerd for NASD 2006, including:

• 710 community/general sites
• 540 college/university sites
• 160 military sites (Mental Health Self-Assessment Program)


• Projected number of people attending a screening: 104,650
• Projected number of people screened: 83,500

In addition, over 19,000 screenings were completed through the NASD Online Screening program, and 30% of those online screenings scoring at alcohol-dependent levels indicated that they would connect with follow-up resources.
