Yvonne Bayliss, Director of Operations
Yvonne joined Screening for Mental Health, Inc in 2007 following a successful career as Manager and General Manager at Back Bay Restaurant Group. With a strong background in business administration and management, Yvonne brings a broad understanding of operations, business development, finance and people management to SMH. Yvonne hails from Ireland with a Bachelor’s degree from National College of Ireland.
John Della Vecchia, Chief Technology Officer
With over 15 years in IT, John has a proven track record of guiding technology initiatives from conception to deployment. Having come from the education sector to SMH, and working in mission-driven organizations for most of his career, John brings an innovative and creative approach to our behavioral health technology assets.
Michelle Holmberg, MA, Director of Programs
Michelle Holmberg is the Director of Programs for Screening for Mental Health, Inc., providing strategic direction, planning, development and implementation across programming. She has her master’s degree in Community Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Michelle’s background includes organizational training around LGBTQ cultural competency and how community health centers recruit and retain a diverse workforce. Michelle has worked nationally with companies and community-based agencies to integrate mental health screenings into their overall approach to wellness.
Candice Porter, LICSW, Chief Development Officer
As Director of External Relations, Ms. Porter is responsible for expanding the organization’s presence on a national level. She works to cultivate new partnerships for each of SMH’s screening programs as well as sustains relationships with existing partners. Before transitioning to her current role, Ms. Porter was the youth programs manager at SMH. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker with more than ten years of experience working in public and private settings. Prior to joining SMH, Ms. Porter worked for Devereux Foundation as a therapist.
Sue Thorn, Director of Marketing and Communications
Sue is an experienced marketing communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, and corporate communications. She has led marketing communications programs for educational institutions, start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies.
