National Alcohol Screening Day® is the largest screening and
education program of its kind. NASD is implemented at the community level by
health care, social service, mental health, prevention, faith-based, and
advocacy organizations, and on college campuses by the health center, the
student activities coordinator, or the counseling center. In primary/specialty
care offices, NASD is implemented by staff and clinicians, and in the workplace
by Employee Assistance Programs.
Due to changes in program funding, all NASD 2006 program kits require a
registration fee.
