In-Person Screening
Allows private practitioners, mental health clinics,
psychiatric and general hospitals and community service organizations to host a
public event at a location in the community. Most events are organized like a
booth at a health fair-a large table with brochures, screening forms, and
giveaway items, with lots of people milling around asking questions, viewing
the video, completing the screening questionnaire and getting general
information. Banners, posters, balloons and food should be available to make
the event more inviting.
The CommunityResponse office provides sites
with:

-

-
Return completed summary and screening forms to the CommunityResponse office
Online Screening
Allows community members to be screened for alcohol and mental health disorders
in their own home, at any time of day, providing a high level of privacy and
convenience. Community members receive immediate screening results and referral
information to the resources they need. Participating organizations are able to
provide this anonymous, 24/7 screening module for an unlimited number of
community members through a link embedded on their own website. CommunityResponse
sites customize their online modules with their own welcome and referral
messages, to provide a service tailored to the community members they serve.
Reports of utilization and aggregate screening results may also be generated by
sites through their online screening module.
