An Outcome Evaluation of the SOS Suicide Prevention Program)
SOS is the first suicide prevention program to be selected by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) of the US Department of Health and Human Services for its Registry of Effective Programs.
SOS was developed with the assistance of, and co-sponsored by, leading school-based professional organizations.
SOS can serve as an important risk management tool for high schools.
