NDSD is implemented…

  • By community-based organizations, including mental health and healthcare centers, social service agencies, faith-based providers, and advocacy organizations
  • On college campuses through the health or counseling center, the student activities coordinator, as part of freshman orientation, in dorms and residences. Learn more about our college program
  • In primary/specialty care offices
  • In the workplace through Employee Assistance Programs

The NDSD office provides sites with:

  • A comprehensive kit of materials including educational brochures for the public, tools for clinicians, and information for friends and family
  • Promotional information to help raise awareness of your event in the community
  • A national media campaign to increase attendance at sites
  • Training materials and technical assistance

Registered sites conducting a screening event…

  • Provide the clinicians and administrative staff
  • Identify and set up the physical location for the event
  • Promote and implement the program in their local communities
  • Return completed summary forms to the NDSD office
